Look: Jungle Dweller

I love green eyeshadow looks and figured I would write a quick tutorial on one. Here’s what to do:

  1. Prime! This is very important. I like to use Wet ‘n Wild’s Fergie Eyeshadow Primer – it’s cheap but it works!
  2. Brush or rub on a shimmery champagne eyeshadow (cream or powder) up to the browbone.
  3. Brush on a matte green shadow (I used shades like olive and sage), covering the lid.
  4. Sweep a shimmery green on top (again, I used shades like olive and sage, but you can use whatever shade of green you like).
  5. Use a crease brush (like the one in the picture) with a deep green shadow to darken your crease and add definition.
  6. Use an angled eyeliner brush in the same dark green eyeshadow on your lower lash line, dragging the shadow about 1/3 of the way in.
  7. Brush or rub the same shimmery champagne eyeshadow on the inner third of your eye to finish the look.
  8. Be sure to use concealer on any undereye circles and fill in your eyebrows! Finish your makeup with peach blush, bronzer, dewy foundation, and peach, berry, or brown lipstick.
  9. This look would be perfect with a loose braid or half-up, half-down style – just be sure to leave some loose strands to frame the face.

What did you think of this post? Do you like green eyeshadow? Let me know in the comments!
